CHE Peer Staff Positions

There are several opportunities for those CHE students interested in being a member of the CHE peer staff team. Work-study is not required in order to work within CHE, but it does help if you have it. If you are interested in working in CHE, then we highly encourage you to get involved as much as possible by attending CHE workshops and events because this provides the hiring staff the opportunity to get to know you better. Additionally, it gives other CHE students across the different cohort levels a chance to get to know you as well.

• Peer Advisor: Positions become available during the month of February for the upcoming new academic year.
• Front Desk Staff: Hired throughout the year as needed.
• Computer Lab Consultant: Hired throughout the year as needed.
• English Peer Tutor: If you are interested in being a CHE English Peer Tutor, then please contact Cynthia Mitchell at 970-351-1906 for further information. English Peer Tutor positions become available during the spring semester for the upcoming new academic year.

During the first week of February, job descriptions and position applications are sent through the Monday Musings, so check your Bearmail messages. Typically, by the end of March the CHE staff makes hiring decisions for the upcoming new academic year.
