AFROTC offers a number of scholarship opportunities and ways to earn them.
High School Scholarships
High School Scholarships are the most common scholarship awarded to cadets. The application
process begins in high school and involves a number of factors including GPA, medical
screening, SAT / ACT scores and a fitness test.
There are several types of High School Scholarships available, offering the following
benefits:
In-College Scholarships are similar to high school scholarships in terms of what they
offer, however there is no application process. Rather, In-College Scholarships are
awarded to active cadets based on merit.
Detachment Cadre will nominate cadets once in the spring and once in the fall based
on academics, fitness, and leadership potential to compete on a national board.
