The Office of Research and Sponsored Programs (ORSP) welcomed new staff members earlier this year so we would like to introduce them to you. Chris Saxton joined the ORSP team in July as director. Chris comes to UNC from the University of New Mexico and has an extensive background leading a research and sponsored programs enterprise. Adam Donze joined ORSP in early April as a Grants and Contracts Administrator (GCA). Adam brings experience in government contracting and hit the ground running as the only GCA since June 1, assisting faculty from all departments. Nancy Schindele joined the team in late April as the Budget and Contracting Coordinator with over 15 years’ experience in higher education. Nancy is now also a Grants and Contracts Administrator. Nancy currently administers the internally funded grant programs, among other projects, and performs department administrative tasks.
