Katelyn Spooner

My name is Katelyn Spooner (she/her/hers), I go by Spooner most. I am the Coordinator for Curriculum, Assessment, and Communications for Housing and Residential Education. I have a Bachelor of Science in Family and Consumer Science, Teaching; a Master of Science in Counseling and Student Personnel, College Student Affairs; Graduate Certificate in Business Management; and a Basic Web Design Certificate. I have worked in Higher Education for 8+ years and have had some amazing opportunities. I love traveling and have been able to learn so much about the individuals I come into contact with within my travels.  I have a passion in curricular design and training/hiring. My favorite pastime that I enjoy is competing in dog competitions with my 3 yahoos. If you ever see me with them don’t be afraid to ask to say hello. I look forward to working with you as you spend time at UNC.
