Professional/Academic Experience

I was born and raised in Colorado, and attended UNC where I majored in International Relations and minored in Japanese. While I had many wonderful experiences at UNC, a key one was a year-long study abroad trip to Tokyo, Japan. After graduation, I worked for Boulder County in Housing and Human Services before pursuing my MA in International Relations at Goldsmiths, University of London in the UK. My wife and I have lived and worked in London, Scotland, Pakistan, and now we're happy to be back home — Colorado. Financial aid was instrumental to my higher education, and I am so happy to have the opportunity to help Bears and future Bears utilize financial aid to pursue their academic goals and to study abroad.
