Orientation for Driving 15-Passenger Vans
Anyone wishing to drive a 15-passenger van must first attend a one-time orientation and certification session. This training is intended for those who wish to utilize the 15-passenger vans in the UNC rental fleet. Training is not required for drivers of a sedan or minivan.
There is no cost for the certification, but registration is required. The van training consists of two parts - a video/lecture session, and a practical driving session. One must first complete the lecture session before attending a driving session. The lecture session should be completed at least 1 month prior to your scheduled trip, and the driving session (to be scheduled after completing the lecture session) should be completed as soon as possible after the lecture session. Unless otherwise indicated in the registration information, lecture sessions will be held in the Training Room at Parsons Hall (501 20th Street).
