AAC&U Career Readiness Faculty Fellows Program
The Career Readiness Faculty Fellows Cohort, funded by The American Association of Colleges & Employers (AAC&U) and the Lumina Foundation, seeks to embed career readiness into the curriculum through intentional and collaborative effort from campus partners.
Who Can Participate?
Anyone who teaches at UNC, either in a degree program, co-curricular program, or other environment and will do so in Fall 2024 is eligible to apply. We firmly believe that career readiness can and should be embedded throughout the learning experience, inside and outside of the classroom. Preference will be given to those who apply by April 12.
What Do I Have to Do?
Cohort members are asked to attend all meetings, engage with provided asynchronous development opportunities, connect and engage with peers outside of meetings, and work to embed career readiness into at least one course they are teaching.
Meetings will be held monthly based on cohort members' availability. The facilitation team plans to conclude your course development with career readiness integration by the end of the summer and for you to then teach that course in Fall 2024.
During the semester you are teaching the course, you will be expected to announce and encourage your students to participate in program evaluation. You will also be expected to participate in program evaluation.

Being an AAC&U Faculty Fellow is very beneficial! By joining you will:
- Receive a stipend of $250
