In my position as the Assistant Director of Outdoor Pursuits, I oversee the Outdoor Pursuits Gear Shop, Climbing Wall and Ropes Course, Bike Shop, and the Trips, and Workshops Programs. I started with UNC Campus Recreation in July of 2021 after receiving my master’s degree in Recreation Administration from Illinois State University. Prior to that I have worked with the University of Massachusetts Lowell Outdoor Adventure Program and Venture Out at Virginia Tech where I graduated with a degree in Forestry in 2016. I am currently an American Mountain Guides Association Single Pitch Instructor, Leave No Trace Master Educator, American Canoe Association Level 2 Kayaking Instructor, and a Wilderness First Responder. In my free time, I enjoy mountain or gravel biking, rock climbing, and playing or watching basketball.
