2022 Panhellenic and IFC Recruitment Now Open
At UNC there are four types of Greek-letter organizations and each belongs to a governing council. There are 19 active fraternities and sororities, making up the Interfraternity Council (traditional fraternities), the Multicultural Greek Council (culturally-based fraternities and sororities), the National Pan-Hellenic Council (historically Black fraternities and sororities), and the Panhellenic Council (traditional sororities).
Each organization is a Registered Student Organization (RSO). RSO's are formally recognized by the University and are conferred with priveleges and benefits not offered to non-recognized groups. Please take time to read our UNC FSL Recruitment and Recognition Letter.
The following organizations are no longer recognized by the University of Northern
Colorado: Sigma Chi Fraternity, Delta Tau Delta Fraternity, Delta Chi Fraternity, Alpha Kappa
Lambda Fraternity, Sigma Lambda Beta International Fraternity Incorporated.

The UNC Chapter of Delta Chi Fraternity is currently suspended and is not recognized by the office of Fraternity and Sorority Life.
