Dr. Marty Taylor

Marty Taylor, PhD is an interpreter educator and interpreter nationally certified in the US and Canada. She is the founder and owner of Interpreting Consolidated, a company formed to provide consultation, evaluation, research, and publishing services to interpreting communities worldwide. Dr. Taylor’s books, Interpretation Skills: American Sign Language to English Second Edition and Interpretation Skills: English to American Sign Language are seminal works used in over 100 programs around the world. Her current projects involve research on interpreting in educational settings, the industry and economics of sign language instructors in Canada (ASL, LSQ and ISL), creating and supporting distance education, and developing materials to enhance interpreter skills development.
