Professional/Academic Experience
I received my undergraduate degree from UNC in Biology with an emphasis in Secondary
Education. I also have a Masters Degree in Biology from the University of Colorado
- Denver Campus. I have 31 years of teaching experience at various levels and am
a Presidential Awards for Excellence in Mathematics and Science Teaching (PAEMST) recipient.
I love helping students learn about all areas of biology. My interests include traveling,
visiting National Parks and camping. I could not be more excited to return to UNC
as a biology instructor.
