The university has teamed up with the Colorado Emergency Operations Center and King Soopers to provide drive-thru testing for COVID-19 on campus this month. The service will be offered in the parking lot west of Candelaria Hall on May 14-16, May 21-23 and May 29-30.

The testing site is estimated to handle 250 vehicles per day. To avoid congestion, faculty returning to Candelaria, McKee or Ross to retrieve items they need during specified open building hours on May 14-15 should enter the parking lots by way of 11th Avenue.

“We are pleased to partner with King Soopers and the State Emergency Operations Center to facilitate an increase in the accessibility and availability of COVID-19 testing in our community,” said UNC President Andy Feinstein. “I would like to thank everyone who has been involved in this effort to support the health and wellbeing of our neighbors in Greeley, Weld County, and Northern Colorado.”

More information about the testing, including how to register for those who are eligible, is available in English and Spanish at krogerhealth.com/covidtesting.

In addition to serving as a host site for testing on campus, UNC previously donated personal protection equipment including surgical masks and gloves to health care providers in the area:
