Education & Training

I am completing my Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and Graduate Certificate in Cultural Studies & Equity from the University of Northern Colorado. Previously, I’ve worked in the Psychological Services Clinic at UNC as a Counselor-in-Training and at North Colorado Family Medicine as a Counseling Intern. I received my Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from Kansas State University. I use my background in Kinesiology and as a student-athlete at KSU and UNC to enhance my skills within the mental health field to help people achieve their highest functioning selves.

Current Roles

I currently serve as a master's level intern, providing individual counseling to students and co-facilitating the Anxiety Workshop. I also provide crisis management services, help connect students to information and resources around campus and the community, and provide safe spaces for students to process all that encompasses being a college student and human!

Therapeutic Approaches

My approach to counseling starts with a foundation in Person-Centered Therapy and works within Acceptance & Commitment Therapy and Narrative Therapy orientations. I believe everyone deserves to be seen and heard, have support in clarifying and enacting their values, and space to build skills to remain present and accepting of their own unique experiences.

About Me

I love exploring Colorado and finding ways to be active in nature! I am a proud dog mom to my rescue pup, and love to help her explore too. My partner and I love watching football, making new recipes, and reading books together. We also love to go on “fun runs” after years of competitive running at our respective universities.
