All ceremonies will take place inside the Bank of Colorado Arena.
Please see the ticketing section for more information.
Doors open one hour prior to each ceremony. Accessible seating is available for all ceremonies.

General Information

Entry to the Bank of Colorado Arena is located on the north side of the building. 

Tickets

Tickets are required for guests attend the 2023 Spring Commencement Ceremonies. Tickets are general entry and valid for one guest per ticket. Tickets are issued at no charge and sale of tickets is prohibited. Tickets will be distributed to graduates electronically to graduates via BearMail accounts. Guests must obtain tickets from their graduates in advance of the ceremony. Tickets will not be available at the ceremony entrance door. 

Ticket distribution is under way! Graduates, be sure to check your spam/junk folder(s) if the tickets do not appear in your Bear mail inbox. If you received tickets for the wrong ceremony, please contact the UNC Ticket Office at 970-351-4849. For all other questions, please contact events@unco.edu or call us at 970-351-2551.

Please note that offices connected with commencement are experiencing a high volume of calls and emails. Your call or email will be returned as soon as possible. 

As always, the ceremony will be offered via livestream on UNC's website and social media platforms for graduate family and friends watching from home. We are also pleased to offer viewing spaces on campus if the venue capacity is exceeded or a less-crowded viewing space is desired. Refreshments and livestreaming will be available at those locations.  

Ticket Availability

Students who have applied to graduate in spring or summer 2023 and plan to participate in the May 5 and 6 ceremonies are eligible to receive up to eight tickets.

Accessing Tickets

Tickets will be delivered via an email from orders@tickets.unco.edu to students’ BearMail addresses on Wednesday, April 26. Tickets can be printed or presented to a gate agent in digital form via Apple Wallet, Samsung Wallet, screenshot, etc., but tickets may not be used more than once. Be sure to check your SPAM, junk or quarantine folders before contacting the University of Northern Colorado Ticket Office for troubleshooting.

Additional Accommodations

The Champions Room (105) is a family-friendly space located inside the Bank of Colorado where ticketed guests can enjoy a livestream of the ceremony in a quieter setting.

For the first time, UNC is proud to offer live Spanish-language interpretation. Assistive listening devices can be checked out inside the lobby of the Bank of Colorado Arena.

ASL interpretation is available at all UNC commencement ceremonies.

The first row of arena seating is reserved in compliance with ADA guidelines.

Alternate Viewing Spaces:UNC will provide a livestream in the overflow seating venue of Lindou Auditorium, located on the lower level of Michener Library. This location neighbors Bank of Colorado Arena and is easily accessible for post-ceremony meet-ups and graduate photography.

Regalia

Cap and gown are the most recognizable symbols of your achievement. Order through Herff Jones and ship regalia directly to your home. On-campus pickup is also available. Return rented gowns and hoods inside the arena after the ceremony.
