Commencement Fair
The Commencement Fair - also known as Grad Fair - is your opportunity to make sure you're ready for the May Commencement ceremonies. Apply for graduation and check how your name will appear in the ceremony program. Learn about applying to be a student speaker at your ceremony. You can also rent your cap and gown, purchase class rings and design your graduation announcements.
We know you're busy, and you may not be on campus. That's why graduates have two options for attending the Commencement Fair. Both formats offer the same resources and vendors, so we'll see you whenever it works best for you.

Student Speakers
Speakers will be chosen to represent their fellow students on the commencement stage.
By submitting an application, you are authorizing the selection committee to access and review grades, enrollment status, and conduct records. A photo and 100 word profile will appear in the ceremony program for selected speakers. This information is due to the commencement coordinator one week after speakers are notified of their selection.
Applications close at midnight on Sunday, March 5.
Undergraduate Student Speaker
Undergraduate students who will graduate in May 2023 and have at least a 2.8 GPA can apply to be the student speaker through the Undergraduate Council.
Graduate Student Speaker
Graduate students who will be earning their master's, specialist or doctoral degree in the Spring of 2023 can apply to be the commencement speaker.
Apply for Graduation
The deadline to apply and have your name appear in the print program is Sunday, March 5, 2023. After this date graduates are still welcome to participate in the ceremony and have their name called. Apply at the Commencement Fair or pick your level of study to apply for graduation:
Order Regalia
Regalia vendor Herff Jones will be available to help with regalia rentals. The deadline to order your cap and gown is Saturday, April 1, 2023 at 9:59 p.m. MT. Sometimes plans change, so please order regalia wisely. See Herff Jones order policies.
Check your Name
Check how your name will appear in the program. If you need to make changes to your name and/or address, please have an ID ready.
Confirm your Diploma Address
Make sure you have the correct mailing address on file so you receive your diploma following graduation.
Order Announcements and Rings
Herff Jones will be available to assist with graduation announcement and class ring orders.
