The Center for Women's and Gender Equity (CWGE) honors gender as a central identity and engages critical women's and gender issues, while challenging systems of inequity and advocating for change at the University of Northern Colorado.

Internship 

We are now offering internship opportunities that will allow students to utilize and gain leadership skills. The Center for Women's and Gender Equity provides programs, discussions, and materials on women’s and gender issues, initiatives, and development.

Qualifications

The student must be admitted in an undergraduate or graduate program at the University of Northern Colorado. Experience in resource centers, student activities, or cultural centers is preferred. The student must demonstrate organization, initiative, and reliability. Additionally, the student must possess the desire and ability to serve in a diverse environment. The student must also have the desire to strengthen their leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

Specific duties include, but are not limited to, the following: assisting the graduate assistant(s) in coordinating events and programming, help coordinate speaking events and co-sponsored events, and participation in outreach and recruitment. 

This position requires 5-10 hours per week for the academic year. No salary will be acquired in this position.
