What is the Timeline for the Comprehensive Examination Process?
The expectation is that all core and content courses are to be completed before the
semester in which the student completes his/her comprehensive examination. One can
be doing a practicum (EDSE 693), one can also be taking the Graduate School’s research
course (SRM 600), and when absolutely necessary one can be taking one content course
during the time the comprehensive examination is being completed.
The sequence of events and its timeline are shown in the table below.
