Required Prerequisite Nursing Courses
BSN Traditional and Second Degree Programs
All course prerequisites or course equivalent must be completed prior to beginning the BSN nursing program. A grade of "C-" or higher is required in each of the prerequisite courses (or course equivalent). Students may take prerequisite courses more than one time, however, only the highest grade from the first 2 attempts will be used for admission screening. All prerequisite courses must have been completed within ten (10) years of application. Any prerequisite courses taken over the 10 year limit will need to be retaken to be eligible for application. Only four (4) prerequisite courses can still be in progress at the time of application. These include the following:
