Position Description: The UNC School of Nursing invites applications for part-time faculty to teach on-campus or online in our undergraduate programs. These positions are filled semester by semester based on the needs of the programs. The positions are highly flexible, depending on the interest and experience of the applicant and may support either clinical or theoretical curricula for the undergraduate programs.
- BSN Program Clinical Faculty
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Two years clinical RN experience
- Current, unencumbered Colorado RN license
Preferred Requirements:
- Master's Degree in Nursing
Position Description: The UNC School of Nursing invites applications for part-time clinical instructor positions to teach in our Bachelor of Science in Nursing program. Part-time, clinical nursing faculty primarily teach on-campus in clinical skills laboratories/simulations and at clinical agencies for specialty rotations. These positions are filled semester by semester based on the needs of different programs and different clinical specialty rotations. Applicants with an interest in teaching in any clinical specialty are welcome to apply. The part-time clinical instructor positions are highly flexible, depending on the interest and experience of the applicant.
- BSN Program Childrens Hospital Colorado Clinical Faculty (for scholars working at
CHC only)
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Two years clinical RN experience
- Current, unencumbered Colorado RN license

Position Description: The UNC School of Nursing invites applications for our part-time, pediatric clinical instructor positions to teach in the Bachelor of Science in Nursing program at Children’s Hospital. Part-time, clinical nursing faculty primarily teach on-campus in clinical skills laboratories/simulations and at clinical agencies for specialty rotations. These positions are filled semester by semester based on the needs of different programs and different clinical specialty rotations.
Graduate Programs:

Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Nursing or other professional clinical degree (MD, DO, PA, etc.)
- Two years clinical experience
- Current, unencumbered Colorado RN/APRN license(s) or other professional clinical Colorado license(s)
Preferred Requirements:
- Doctoral Degree in Nursing
Position Description: The UNC School of Nursing invites applications for part-time faculty positions to teach in our graduate programs. Part-time graduate faculty may teach on-campus in clinical skills laboratories/simulations in the FNP and ENP programs or teach in our online support courses for master’s or doctoral programs. Depending on interest and expertise, opportunities for on-campus, classroom teaching may also be available. These positions are filled semester by semester based on the needs of the programs. The positions are highly flexible, depending on the interest and experience of the applicant, and may support either the clinical or didactic curricula for the graduate programs.

- Master's Degree in Nursing
- Two years clinical APRN/FNP experience
- Current, unencumbered Colorado RN/APRN license(s)
- National certification as FNP (AANP or AACC)

Depending on interest and expertise, opportunities for classroom teaching may be available. These positions are filled semester by semester based on the needs of the programs. The positions are highly flexible, depending on the interest and experience of the applicant.
- ENP Clinical Faculty
Minimum Qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Nursing
- Two years clinical APRN/FNP experience
- Current, unencumbered Colorado RN/APRN license(s)
- National certification as FNP (AANP or AACC)
- National certification as ENP (AANP)
Preferred Requirements:
- Doctoral Degree in Nursing
- APRN/FNP urgent care/emergency experience
Position Description: The UNC School of Nursing invites applications for part-time clinical faculty positions to teach in our graduate Emergency Nurse Practitioner program. Part-time, nurse practitioner clinical faculty primarily teach on-campus in clinical skills laboratories/simulations and conduct site visits for specialty rotations. Depending on interest and expertise, opportunities for classroom teaching may be available. These positions are filled semester by semester based on the needs of the program. The positions are highly flexible, depending on the interest and experience of the applicant.
