About Emily:

Emily Perkins joined the UNC community in August 2015. She serves as the Undergraduate Clinical Compliance and Program Management Specialist for the School of Nursing. She is an experienced higher education professional, originally from Northfield, Minnesota, who earned her Bachelor of University Studies with concentrations in Advertising, Marketing, and Design from North Dakota State University. In December 2022, she earned an "Inclusive and Ethical Leadership" certificate from University of South Florida.

Emily approaches her work with a focus on accuracy, timeliness, and care.  She is driven by the central belief that students and their experience are top priority.

Emily enjoys reading, family vacations, and spending time with her husband, children, and two dogs. Fun Fact: Emily ran a full marathon!
