Trustees to Meet Nov. 16-17

University of Northern Colorado Board of Trustees will meet Thursday and Friday (Nov. 16-17) in the Panorama Room of the University Center, 2101 10th Ave.
At 1 p.m. Thursday, the board will hold a working session to discuss a draft of the updated five-year fiscal sustainability plan. Trustees will adjourn at approximately 3:30 p.m. for tours of the Campus Commons and the Gender and Sexuality Resource Center.
On Friday, the board will meet at 8:30 a.m. to discuss the presidential search. Alberto Pimentel with Storbeck/Pimentel & Associates, the firm assisting UNC with the search, will present to the board.
The board will then reconvene at 10:15 a.m. for its regular meeting. The action items on the agenda are:
- An amendment to allow in-service distributions for employees 65 and older who are enrolled in the University Optional Retirement Plan.
- UNC controlled-maintenance projects as prescribed by Senate Bill 17-267 Building Collateralization.
- And a naming recommendation to call the student-athlete academic success center the Bob Heiny Student-Athlete Academic Success Center.
The trustees’ next scheduled regular meeting is Jan. 19.
