UNC Trustees to Meet Friday, Nov. 16

UNC’s Board of Trustees will meet at 8:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 16, in the Panorama Room of the University Center, 2101 10th Ave. Action items on the agenda include a new bachelor’s degree program in European languages and cultures, and a graduate program, the Secondary Pedagogy Master of Arts in Teaching, which would replace of the existing secondary education post-baccalaureate program.
Trustees will also recognize Kato Crews with a resolution acknowledging his leadership and service to the board. The board will receive updates on: the President’s Leadership Council, fall 2018 enrollment, and the university’s brand positioning efforts.
The remaining board schedule for the 2018-19 academic year is: Jan. 25, March 7 (working session), March 8, and June 14.
