
UNC Board of Trustees on Friday approved amending the section of the Board Policy Manual that covers conflict of interest.
The revised sections of the board manual add context and extend the policy to personnel and non-personnel issues “to guide employees to identify and avoid acting in situations in which their ability to exercise … independent judgment is, or may be, compromised."
No other action items were on the agenda. The board’s next meeting is March 8.
