University of Northern Colorado Board of Trustees approved a resolution opposing Proposition 112 during a special meeting Oct. 19. The resolution cites negative effects passage of 112 would have on the community, state and university — UNC receives 20 percent of its funding from the state. Other higher education governing boards, including those at Aims Community College and Colorado Mesa University, also have issued resolutions opposing the measure.
