Thomas Endres, Ph.D., professor of Communication Studies, won an award from the Midwest Independent Publishers Association (MiPA). His recent book, My Costume, Myself: Celebrating Stories of Cosplay and Beyond  was named a Silver Finalist in the Non-Fiction: Social Science, Political Science, Culture category at their annual awards ceremony, held on June 22 at the Mall of America in Bloomington, MN. This is Endres' second book of photographs and interviews published by Kirk House; the first being his 2002 Sturgis Stories: Celebrating People of the World's Largest Motorcycle Rally.
