    Two Students Awarded for Digital Media Work at International Conference

    51st International Conference of Computer Graphics and Interactive Techniques 2024 SIGGRAPH SpaceTime

    Work by two students from ART 237 Introduction to Digital Media taught by Professor of Digital Media Anna Ursyn, Ph.D., Ruth Sosa Maciel and Izzy Anderson were both awarded Honorable Mention in the 51st International Conference of Computer Graphics and Interactive Techniques 2024 SIGGRAPH SpaceTime student poster competition.

    Works created by the students were judged by an international group of six academics and professionals who looked at a collection of outstanding entries.This year, the topic was: "The Future of Computer Graphics and Interactive Techniques." Ruth is an Art and Design Major, while Izzy just graduated with a degree from the English Department.

    This is an international, very prestigious competition for the largest and oldest computer graphics conference. Their work will be presented during the conference and on the permanent website of the Education Committee at ACM SIGGRAPH.
