Associate Professor of Geography, GIS and Sustainability Jieun Lee, Ph.D., is serving as principal investigator on a three-year, $1 million NSF-funded initiative to support women born in different countries who teach geography and all geospatial sciences in the U.S.
“This grant gives us an excellent platform from which we can continue the collaboration from past projects, gather data about the experiences of women scholars from other countries and develop implementation plans that lead to systemic change within university geography departments,” said Lee.
