University Libraries will be celebrating the opening of the newest exhibit to Michener Library, “From Haven to Home: 350 Years of Jewish Life in America.” This traveling exhibit from the University of Denver explores the rich history of Jewish peoples in the United States; their struggles, triumphs and unique contributions to the nation they’ve come to call home. There are also supplemental displays from UNC Archives.

Students, faculty and staff are encouraged to view the exhibit on Wednesday, Sept. 6, 4 - 6 p.m. to enjoy conversation and light refreshments, including traditional Jewish treats.

The event is free and open to the public.
