UNC's Information Management & Technology (IM&T) is excited to introduce the newly designed My UNC app, a cutting-edge mobile solution designed to enhance the student experience.
The new app provides direct access to many of the platforms and resources commonly used by students, faculty and staff. This includes Degree Works, Canvas, Ursa and Bear Central, as well as other popular campus resources.
This innovative new app will replace the legacy UNC Mobile app on June 30. After that time, the older version of the app will no longer work. Users are encouraged to download the new app today!
Key Features of the My UNC App:
- Personalized Dashboards: Users can customize their app dashboard by adding, removing, or rearranging cards. The cards provide one-click access to essential information, schedules and resources tailored to individual needs.
- Campus Maps and Navigation: An interactive campus map provides detailed information on campus buildings with links for additional information. Users can also search the map for specific locations across campus.
- View Class Schedules and Grades: Students will have easy access to view a listing of their courses, see grades for completed courses and view their course schedule.
- Consolidated Calendar: A consolidated calendar provides one-click access to all events listed on the UNC Events calendar and the Athletics calendar. A separate Events and Activities card provides easy access to explore other engagement opportunities through BearConnect, Arts Calendar, UNC's Ticket Office and the UNITE series.
IM&T will collaborate with campus partners to continue to enhance the My UNC app’s features and functionality. In the future, the My UNC app will eventually contain all information currently found in Ursa.
