Student Employees

HIPAA requires yearly training for anyone having access to private health information (PHI).

If you have students working in your UNC department, they must complete yearly HIPAA training through Canvas. Employees will complete training in Cornerstone located in URSA.

Please email student's name and last 4 numbers of bear number to debra.miller@unco.edu

Students will be sent a Canvas invite to complete the course and will need to read and sign a confidentiality statement that is included in the course.
