Want to Join an Interfraternity Council Fraternity? 

We are excited you are interested in joining an IFC Fraternity at UNC! Structured Recruitment happens at the beginning of each semester and is the most common time for men to join. 

Spring and Fall recruitment will take place within the first 3 weeks of the semester. Fall 2022 recruitment will take place August 29-September 2. Many fraternities, however, continue to recruit throughout the semester. Check out individual IFC organizations (click on the Interfraternity Council drop-down menu) here. 

Each organization is a Registered Student Organization (RSO). RSO's are formally recognized by the University and are conferred with privileges and benefits not offered to non-recognized groups. 

If you are interested in joining a Multicultural Greek Council (MGC) Fraternity or National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC - Divine Nine) Fraternity, please visit the organizations page on the Fraternity and Sorority Life website and contact the organizations directly.

If you join a fraternity, each organization has their own financial commitment.
