Eileen Erickson

Eileen graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a B.S. in Accounting in 2006.

The Controller oversees all accounting and finance functions for the Foundation. She is responsible for scholarship administration and program support to the University, financial reporting, compliance with accounting policies and internal controls, and the annual year-end audit and 990 tax filing.  Contact Eileen if you have questions related to Foundation accounting processes.

What I love most about working for the UNC Foundation:

I am excited to be part of a team that is making a difference in students’ lives and is helping make dreams a reality by providing students with financial support so that they can attend an amazing University.  I am also grateful to be working with a strong team whom I have come to respect and love.

More about Eileen:

I grew up on a dairy in Colorado and know all there is to know on how to raise calves.  I never learned how to milk a cow though, that is one chore I left to the professionals.  I married my best friend and high school sweetheart and we have two very active boys.  I love the outdoors and spending time in the mountains.  I enjoy camping and exploring four wheeler trails with my family and I love my date nights with my husband because that means we can go cruise around on the motorcycle.  A few hobbies that I enjoy are playing the piano, reading, and knitting.  Reading by far is my absolute favorite hobby, just ask my husband.  A fun fact about me is that I used to be on a pit crew and was responsible for recording the stats of a late model race car my friend drove at the Colorado National Speedway.
