Rodolfo 'Rudy' Vargas is a dedicated public health professional born in Coahuila, Mexico, who moved to the U.S. at age 12. With a bachelor's in Spanish Literature from the University of Northern Colorado, and a Master of Public Health with a concentration in Community Health Education from the Colorado School of Public Health, Rudy excels in community collaboration to ensure equitable access to resources. His extensive experience working with Latine individuals of all ages includes serving as the main contact for DREAMer students at the University of Northern Colorado since 2018. In his current role as Director of the César Chávez Cultural Center and Undocumented Student Services at UNC, he plays a crucial role in creating an inclusive environment that supports the academic, financial and personal success of students.
