Colorado Commission for the Deaf, Hard of Hearing, and DeafBlind
The Auxiliary Services program is responsible for providing access to effective communication for deaf, hard of hearing, and deafblind individuals in the Colorado State Courts, including for probation and court-ordered treatment, and for state administrative proceedings; for rural areas of the state; and for Commission staff within the Colorado Department of Human Services. In addition, Auxiliary Services oversees the credentialing of court/legal interpreters, provides sign language interpreting training opportunities, and conducts outreach.
Prior to joining the Commission in 2018, Trish worked as an Assistant Attorney General in the Colorado Department of Law, served as an appellate clerk at the Colorado Court of Appeals and the Colorado Supreme Court, and worked in public health research. Trish holds a bachelor and master’s degrees in psychology and a Juris Doctor degree.
