Formed in 2018, the Department of Rehabilitation and Human Services is comprised of eight full-time faculty members covering four academic programs: two graduate and two undergraduate.
Human Services, B.S.
The field of Human Services uniquely approaches the objective of meeting human needs through an interdisciplinary knowledge base, focusing on prevention as well as remediation of problems, and maintaining a commitment to improving the overall quality of life of service populations.
Rehabilitation Counseling, M.A.
Do you want to make a difference in the lives of those with disabilities? UNC’s Rehabilitation Counseling program will provide you with the education and training to join a rapidly growing field. You will graduate as a rehabilitation counselor, qualified to help people deal with the personal, social and vocational effects of disabilities.
