Mark Longshore

Professional/Academic Experience

Mark Longshore has been a nurse for over 25 years. Realizing the most rewarding part of his work in the emergency department was empowering his patients through education, he made the jump to nursing education in 2005. Having recently completed his PhD in Nursing Education, he began teaching at the University of Northern Colorado nursing program in fall 2022.

Mark has lived in Colorado with his wife, Liz, and two children since 2002. Away from work, he enjoys driving (like a recent road trip to Michigan) and building things, including the Lego flowers in his office.
