Eligibility Criteria

• Second- or third-year students with a minimum of 60 credits completed by the end of the academic year and at least one more year of undergraduate enrollment.
• 2.75 or higher cumulative GPA
• American citizen or US permanent resident
• Strong interest in completing a graduate degree
• First generation college student AND income eligible
  -- OR --
  Member of a population underrepresented at the graduate level (American Indian, Black/African American, Hispanic/Latino, Native Alaskan, Native Hawaiian/Pacific Islander)

To apply, download the application and optional recommendation forms (or come by our office to pick up a hard copy), complete all sections, and email to the McNair Scholars Program at mcnair.scholars@unco.edu. In order to view this document, you need the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader. Priority deadline February 16^th. Rolling admission until  March 18^th.
