Professional/Academic Experience
My name is Nick Trujillo and I am pursuing a History Major with an Anthropology Minor
at the University of Northern Colorado. My immediate academic goal is to go into a
PhD graduate program for Archaeology, with the long-term goal of working for the Bureau
of Land Management or the National Park Service. I am a Colorado native and grew up
in the mountains in Evergreen, Colorado. I have a passion for being outdoors; hiking,
exploring, rock hounding (looking for rare and unique rocks), etc. In 2017, I graduated
with Honors from Red Rocks Community College with my Associate Degree in History.
I have a passion for education and learning and am proud and honored to be part of
the McNair Scholars program. I am looking forward to continuing to advance and expand
my academic and professional career in the field that I love.
