Professional/Academic Experience
Hello! My name is Theresa Schwartz and I am a Junior here at UNC. I was born in Germany
but have made Colorado my home for 15 years. I am a first-generation student and have
found my calling in anthropology. I am also minoring in biology. After graduating
from UNC I plan to go to graduate school for either archaeology, bioarcheology, or
biological anthropology. I volunteer to sort archaeological artifacts and this past
summer I took part in a recovery excavation in Germany for an MIA recovery organization
called History Flight. I am a thrill seeker and have soared the skies, skydiving and
crawled in the depths of a cave, caving. I am excited to be a McNair scholar and the
opportunities that it will bring.
