Hello all! I'm Maia, and I'm an Applied Mathematical Sciences major with a Computer Science concentration. My primary goal is to simply learn as much as I can about my favorite thing in this world, mathematics, and hopefully mold this love into a career. Though I spent some time in Alaska, I have spent most of my life in Colorado Springs, the place I'll always consider home. Till this day, my absolute best friend is my wonderful wiener dog, Oscar, who has been by my side through it all. As for this chapter in my life, I am a Student Ambassador with the College of Natural Health and Sciences and starting my very first research project with the Ronald E. McNair Scholars Program. I have nothing but high hopes for what has yet to happen.
