Biography

My name is Dorothy Achiaa Agyemang, and I am a junior at the University of Northern Colorado. I am majoring in chemistry with an emphasis in pre-health. I am from Ghana, West Africa, but currently live in Aurora, Colorado, with my two younger brothers and parents. In the future, I dream of becoming an international pharmacist managing pharmacy stores within developing countries in Africa. I am a member of the Upper Division Honors Program at the University of Northern Colorado. I am also a first-generation student and a member of the Center for Human Enrichment and the Stryker Institute for Leadership Development. For experiences, I volunteer in the pharmacy department at the Northern Colorado Medical Center. I am grateful to have this opportunity as a member of the McNair Scholars Program!
