Can Goal-Setting Improve Hospital Volunteers’ Intrinsic Motivation?
Mentor: Rena Kirkland, PhD, School of Psychological Sciences
My name is Genesis Orellana, and my major is psychology. I plan to get a PhD in Child Psychology and eventually work as a child forensic interviewer. I love to hike because it is always an adventure and relaxing. The beauty of the mountains will never disappoint anyone. I was born in Los Angeles, CA, but raised in Greeley, CO. I have been a Banner Health volunteer for seven years, which sparked my interest in goal-setting and motivation in young hospital volunteers.
