Biography

My name is Ariana Yanez. I am from Granada, Colorado which is a small town located in the southeastern part of the state. I am a junior majoring in Speech Pathology and minoring in Spanish. After graduating with my bachelor’s degree, I want to get my Master’s degree and become a bilingual Speech Pathologist who works in Children’s Hospitals in the United States and Mexico. I love working with children. I want to help them out in any way that I can. I believe that once I become a Bilingual Speech Pathologist, I will be able to achieve that goal because I believe every child deserves to be treated, especially the ones that aren’t as privileged as others.  Whenever I’m not doing school work, I play basketball and hang out with my friends. I also enjoy spending time with my family. Overall, I can’t wait to see what McNair has in store for me and I look forward to making unforgettable memories with my McNair “Fam-bam”.
