Biography

Hello, my name is Taylor Ryan McGinn. I am a junior here at UNC and I am majoring in human services with a double minor in sociology and gender studies. I was born and raised in Denver, Colorado, more specifically, North Denver. Something unique about me is that I have four (five in October) younger brothers, four moms, and one dad. Family is incredibly important to me and I believe that they have shaped me into the person that I am today. After UNC, I plan on going to graduate school in Denver for social work so that I can work with young women from low-income backgrounds and people of blended families. After years of experience in that field, I would like to eventually earn a PhD in sociology, gender, or social work and teach at the college level.
