Apporto Virtual Lab

Apporto Virtual Lab is a web based virtual computer lab for students and faculty to remotely access UNC software from any device, anywhere. (The software available in the Apporto Virtual Lab is listed below; not recommended for basic Microsoft Office needs. Microsoft Office is available for free for personal devices and can be downloaded here.)

    • SPSS
    • Tableau
    • Visual Studio
  • Not intended for Microsoft Office. Faculty, Staff and Students can get Office for Free on up to 5 personal devices.
  • Excludes: Adobe Software, Apple Specific Software (PVA), other specialized software.
  • Files should not be stored locally. Use the Apporto Cloud Mounter icon to select your preferred storage solution including OneDrive.
  • 80 concurrent sessions are available. If you receive a message that there are no licenses available, please try again later.

  • Apporto Virtual GPU Desktop has limited licensing for the following software:
    • ArcGIS
    • ArcGIS Pro
    • Envi
    • MatLab
    • Mplus
    • Pix4D
