Greetings fellow bears! OIS wanted to share the following advice for cybersecurity month.

  • Keep on the lookout for suspicious and/or unsolicited emails.
  • If an offer seems too good to be true… don’t trust it.
  • Multifactor authentication is an essential extra layer of protection in case you are tricked into giving up your username and password. The Microsoft Authenticator app is the best way to keep your account safe. Start using it today! (MMFA)
  • You should never share your username and password with ANYONE!  If you need to share resources, client services can show you the right way to do it without compromising your security.
