In the End

In the end there is nothing
At least that's what they always say
In the end there is nothing
Buildings fall, foundations crumble
But something's always left behind
What does it mean to meet our finish
What does it mean to run out of time
Should we look to the past
For some forgotten clue
Should we look towards to future
Look for something new
In the end there is nothing
At least that's what they always say
In the end there is nothing
Things are changing, can you feel it?
Let's try to make it for the best
Cuz empires were made to fall apart
But we were made to last
A broken arm won't heal without a cast
You cant make a future without mending the past
In the end there is nothing
At least that's what they always say
In the end there is nothing
Left to stand in our way
The end is said so much and we don't even know what it means
And Hollywood has plagued what we see in our dreams
We're so scared of the end , so what it's just a word
Because when it does collapse we won't go unheard
By our loved ones and the ones that we know
Because humans press on its this society that has to go
Cuz in the end there is nothing
At least that's what they always say
in the end there is nothing
Left to stand in our way
