About Us

The mission of the Cumbres teacher preparation program is to recruit, support and mentor undergraduate students who pursue a degree in education (Early Childhood, Elementary, Secondary, Special Education, Early Childhood Special Education) and who also declare an emphasis/endorsement in English as a Second Language (ESL) to work with and teach our linguistically and culturally diverse students in K-12 education through four components: living community, learning community, mentorship and leadership development.
