of Northern Colorado

Professional/Academic Experience
I grew up in Denver, Colorado. I love Colorado, from the striking blue sky to the
beauty of the Rocky Mountains. My background is in geology, I am an igneous/metamorphic
petrologist (in a nutshell, I research how igneous and metamorphic rocks were formed and altered). I have always
loved to teach and while earning my M.A. at UNC, I began taking educational psychology
courses. I am now earning my Ph.D. in educational psychology while specializing in
geology.
