Multilingual Education: World Languages
The Multilingual Education Master of Arts degree provides advanced knowledge, skills, and cross-cultural competencies for a variety of teaching contexts both in the United States and around the world.
Licensure Concentration
The World Languages Licensure concentration prepares students with advanced knowledge, skills, and cross-cultural competencies to work in the field of foreign/world language education in both American K-12 systems and international settings to advance multilingual education. The program will offer a master’s degree and a recommendation for a Colorado world language teaching license.
The program can be completed in 5 or 6 semesters depending on start term and courses taken each semester.
This program is offered as an online program through UNC's Extended Campus.
UNC Asian Studies B.A. students: please note that an accelerated (4+1) version of the master's degree program is available, which allows you to transition into this online program while you are still completing your bachelor's degree.
